Project: Presidential Summer House, Guest House and Offices

Situated within a wooded area to the south of Tarabya Bay, the Huber Mansion is a jumble of architectural styles, representing one of the important structures of the Bosphorus with its splendid appearance. This mansion built in 1890,  has been serving as the summer residence of the president of Turkey since 1985 and is renovated and refurbished every 10 to 15 years.

The design style chosen for this project took its inspiration from the woods it is built in and the play of sunlight that can be seen on the Bosporus strait all during the day. Hence wood and majestic light pieces are the main elements used in this project, down playing all the other design elements including free standing furniture.

Scope: Interior Design and Fit-out
